Hi Team, I have a bunch of errors appearing when I run the Task Menu 'find
address' function in the sample Sheboygan PHP layout. (Typical example
below)
I have searched the 'net and found a bunch of back and forth's that weren't
particularly helpful and also checked the version 2.5f within
Team, I have a data set that has a colmn 'NAME' that includes a bunch called
'?? ISLAND'
I am trying to exclude the ISLAND tags by using (NAME '% ISLAND') without
brackets as my filter but it does work.
any helpers plz or a page where I can get basic examples??
I'm ,more than comfortable
Team, if I load a map definition in Maestro 5.04 and click Preview, I see a
Flyout in the Toolbar called Tools that has the following commands;
Zoom to Scale
Get KML
Get extents
They don't appear if I click Preview in a Layout. Any ideas where they might
be stored??
Cheers, Peter
Hi, I am having a problem seeing a custom icon in my virtual directory.

Physical Path: C:\WebSites\Demo\stdicons\icon_feedback.gif
If I type http://localhost/mapguide/websites/demo/stdicons/icon_feedback.gif
in IE, the image
Yep, that is what I also thought but it doesnt work for me. I will mess
around a bit more and come back shortly.

Ok, tick the preso off using Apache, but now back to reimage again and
IIS/.net site.
Can anyone shed light on what is meant with the description below and what I
should do about it??
I can find and edit the file but truthfully I dont know what i should be
adding or removing. Any assistance
Thanks Jackie. Despite the challenges, I'm still heading down the .net path
but with a demo to do tomorrow I might have to ditch my goal at the last
minute and re-image my laptop back to the Apache/php version which at least
i can get to show most of what I want to.
Getting the .aspx task pane
This may be a really basic question but here goes, Is the concept that you
install *either* Apache or IIS *not both* on the same server?

Hi, I'm still on the lookout for an answer to my 'aspx appears as text'
problem but to keep the ball rolling I have been into the MySQL setup. I
have the original discs at work for MGE 2010, AIMS 2012 and 2013 but none of
them have the data (or script) as called by the Autodesk Infrastructure Map
Howdy,
any suggestions as to why my aspx code would appear as xml text in my Task
Pane?
I spent yesterday going through 'Getting Started with V2' again plus the
'MGOS2 for IIS7' docs but cant see anything I have missed so its probably a
lack of understanding.

All good to go now. I ended up going with
../MapGuide/Test_07/Hello.htmhttp://localhost:8008/MapGuide/Test_07/Hello.htm
instead of
http://localhost:8008/MapGuide/Test_07/Hello.htm
and it runs fine thanks.

I am still having trouble getting a layout URL to load in Maestro but figure
it is me not Maestro.
I *had* a 'Hello.htm' file in
C:\Program Files\OSGeo\MapGuide\Server\Repositories\Site\Test_07\
Jackie advised;
the physical directory of MapGuide's www root is actually: C:\Program
Na, I just couldnt figure where my good work was disappearing to. :-)
I thought it may keep a copy in let's say 'normal' format as well but all
good. At least I can stop looking for them now.

Team, when I create a new folder in Maestro, does it appear somewhere under
either C:\Program Files\OSGeo\MapGuide Maestro 5.0b3 or under C:\Program
Files\OSGeo\MapGuide
(as I cant find it under either)
