I dont recommend to use autodesk raster provider becouse is extremly slow. My measurment between MGOS raster provider and autodesk raster provider show me that autodesk raster provider is at last 2x or more slower. What is not acceptable. Klemen zspitzer wrote: > > or buy a license for

That is good news, at least I know someone is looking at this! If they find a solution, will it be included in later MGOS releases? Marius zspitzer wrote: > > or buy a license for MGE and use the autodesk raster provider ... > > I managed to demonstrate the problem to the autodesk team with a

I have not tested with tiff's yet, I am a bit worried about the size a converted mrsid might be, as well as loss of quality when I convert to tiff. But it might be worth a try as that will still be better than an unstable system. Stefan Dalakov wrote: > > I use latest MGOS with Apache on Win S

I use latest MGOS with Apache on Win Server 2003 (as I have 1.2 running on the same server on IIS), and I use 150 Mb tiff. No problems so far on both. Have you tested with tiff files ? Regards : Stefan Dalakov marius.360 wrote: Hi all, I posted a message a while ago regarding MGOS being very

Marius, No help but I have the same issue. I think the workaround is Version 1.2. It sounds like some others have put schemes in place that monitor the mgserver process and then reset when necessary. IMO a kluge to say the least. I have heard nothing about a real fix. r, dennis ___

Hi all, I posted a message a while ago regarding MGOS being very unstable and crashing a lot. Since then I have removed the raster layer from the map and it has improved a lot, not crashing once since then (about 4 days). The layer was displaying quite large MrSid files, +- 150mb each, with about
