Sorry Gang, this is actually only a bug with AIMS 2015 and not MapGuide 2.6.
Testing with Sheboygan dataset works fine in MGOS 2.6 but can't select
within buffer in AIMS 2015 and retrieve properties.

I added the SelectWithin widget to the toolbar from the dropdown menu
(without changing any of the settings) in the Flexible Layout resource form
in Maestro. I used the slate template from the Sheboygan mgp for my web
layout.
This is the result on my 'demo' map. If you try SelectWithin
Do you see requests made to xml2json.php? If so, if you look in the response,
does the JSON end with a semi-colon?

Sorry I don't know how to find out. I looked at the log files on the
MapGuide Site Administrator and searched for information on the IIS
manager. All without any reference to xml2json.php.
I'm a newby at all things web (but eager to learn).. Could you tell me
where to look, please?

I keep getting this error message when I try to use the Select Within widget
in fusion map.
When I use a standard layout
We need something more precise than I try to use the Select Within widget
What exact steps did you take? Can it be reproduced with the Sheboygan
sample map?

in my MGOS 2.0.2 project I have many layers from ODBC data sources (SQL
Server tables). When I use the select within function me are also selected
items that are outside the selected polygon.

I can create a buffer then select within but when i select more than one
record it just says 'x records selected'. I know in the fusion layouts you
can toggle which record to look at. Is this possible in basic layouts?

I have not used the Selection procedures extensively.
I find them usefull only for handling selections that are displayed to
the user.
When you create the buffer item, you can retrieve the WKT for the buffer
item.
With this WKT, you can make a regular selection directly on the
featuresource.
did anyone tried creating buffer and then select within that buffer. i am
using .net and when ever i check the selection xml after selecting within
buffer its empty dont know why its happening. i tried the sample map but
still it has same issues
