Oops. The BETA 1b for Autodesk MapGuide Enterprise 2010 Webextension breaks
this fix.. now FireFox is prompting again for password, even with this fix.
Does this occur in MGOS too?
thanks

Awesome fix! Thanks for that. I now have Firefox working without

Andy,
I agree.
I would tend to think that the legend is a pretty fundamental element and if
that has issues: http://trac.osgeo.org/fusion/ticket/244
I am hard pressed to give Fusion the time-of-day. Yes, Fusion sure does make
things alot prettier and such BUT ... gee whiz get the fundamentals

Thanks Dave, but I have tried that and it has the same result with
multiple maps. Maps with 20 or so load fine in IE. The maps I am
using do have

argh - that shouldn't have changed, must be some difference in IE and
Firefox that we never noticed. What we really need is a method of
generating a single image
This is very valid. We have not been able to put any time into Fusion
in the past little while, Mike will be able to work on cutting a new
release in the near future with an emphasis on getting known issues
fixed especially when there are tickets and patches provided.

Also, patches are welcome if anybody has fixed any of these.
I'm expecting to have more time to devote to Fusion over the summer.

I wouldn't say Ajax is EOL...it still has a purpose. Get Fusion as fast and as
solid as Ajax and then you can start to think

Agreed 100%
Since Fusion is the way to do things now and the AJAX viewer is
essentially
EOL, it is imperative that we have a good out of the box user story with
Fusion.
I personally have not had a clean experience

I'm looking forward to seeing if your mrsid/ecw's work - I never did
get them working. This SESSION problem in Firefox would also be a show
stopper for me (if I needed another one).

Correction, http://trac.osgeo.org/fusion/ticket/232 does not appear to be a
problem in this version.

The Firefox issue is fairly straightforward to fix, except for my lack of
understanding of the actual cause of the issue.
In ApplicationDefinition.js, the method getAppDef(xhr) needs to be changed
to be like this:
getAppDef: function(xhr){
if (xhr typeof(xhr) == object
