There are some nasty issues with the 2.1 beta and Fusion selection. If you're
going to try something, go for the latest test build:

Yes, I loaded it with mg2010. The key to this package really is just
ensuring you have a map with the Sperical Mercator projection:
PROJCS["Popular Visualisation CRS / Mercator",
GEOGCS["Popular Visualisation CRS", DATUM["Popular Visualisation Datum",
SPHEROID["Popular Visualisation Sphere", 63
