Hi All,
This has been an on/off personal project since the beginning of this year
that has reached the stage where I think it is adequately usable.
mg-desktop is an implementation of the MapGuide API, it provides all the
necessary components for data access (MgFeatureService), rendering and

a) Nobody has filed a ticket on the matter
b) It would break the basemap switcher widget depending on which version of
Fusion you have, but that widget is somewhat broken by design so no real
loss there. The layer itself shou
It looks to be a bug, the codepath in question does not appear to be setting
the layer's filter property.

In case you're wondering where the actual files are...
The OSGeo download site is getting clogged at the moment. So it could take
at least several hours to a day before the actual files are finally
uploaded.

Mono support on non-windows OSes :)
My approach with Mono is simply: target the subset of the .net framework
that is proven to work on Mono and just assume it does work. My testing
resources are limited. The lack of Mono-related tickets on trac says that
Mono is "good enough".
But in terms of thi
I did update the code path in question to set the layer filter for beta 2.
Let me know if it fixed this issue

You use the Digitize(Point/Line/LineString/Polygon/Circle/etc) function from
the Viewer API.
The callback function you supply will be called when digitization is
completed and the digitized geometry is passed to that callback function

Fusion is really heavy with javascript and demands a modern browser for
optimal performance. IE7 does not classify as a modern browser.

If anyone's wondering about that incomplete sentence, it was:
You don't see the legend performance issues in the AJAX viewer because it
pre-truncates layers that have number of styles beyond a certain number,
thus reducing the amount of layer icon requests.

Just be aware that the trunk QuickPlot widget is incompatible with current
releases of MapGuide/AIMS because it uses new APIs introduced since MGOS 2.2
/ AIMS 2012 (See: http://trac.osgeo.org/mapguide/wiki/MapGuideRfc118).
Everything else should work as-is.

You need a 64-bit libpq.dll. If you have a 32-bit postgres installation, this

There must've been a 32-bit libpq.dll somewhere that Windows found. Maybe in
one of the directories in your PATH environment variable?
