MI dxf import woes

When trying to import an election board precinct map created in autocad I get the following: "dxf file does not contain a tables section" "dxf file does not contain a block section" "dxf file does not contain an entities section"   Could someone please advise what's happening here?   Thank

We've seen it too with MI 5.5 and Win NT4.0, so it isn't just a Win98 thing. We reported it to MI, but they said it is probably be a video conflict, but it happens on many of our computers, all with different hardware configurations. Sounds like a bug to me, MI just needs to admit it and fix it.
