Re: MI AND AV in the same office?

Just to stick my oar in, I have both MI and Autocad14.0/Map 3.0 and use both. Why you might ask? I find that they both have strengths and weaknesses. Mapinfo's strong points are cost, relative lack of complexity (at a user level) and standard of map presentation. Acad is costly, but I far pref

Tim, I find the easiest way is to save your workspace, then open the .WOR file with notepad or other editor and edit the cartographic legend section. If you use Search:Find carto, this will take you to the top of the legend section. Then you can reorder the frames by simply cutting and pasting

RE: MI HARTEBEESTHOEK 94 DATUM

2000-03-30 Thread A. T. Beckett
Hi, it can get confusing. WGS 84 is a satellite datum, which incorporates it's own reference ellipsoid for the purposes of providing positions in convenient Lat/Lon co-ordinates, rather than it's native 3 dimensional cartesian co-ordinates. So in effect you are right in concluding that WGS84

I have encountered the following problem printing to a Deskjet 690C printer, and would be interested to know if anyone else has encountered/overcome it: When printing from MapInfo 5.5, overlaying transparent hatches do not print correctly. Only the uppermost hatch is printed, as if the hatch h
