Dear listers, We are using MapInfo 6.0 and since version 5.5. we have
noticed that occasionally the grabber tool stops working when trying to
move maps in the map window (this never seems to occur in the layout
window). It occurs when using both vector and raster maps. I have

About a year ago I complained of a similar problem, to the list, which
still persists.
Platforms include W95 & NT 4 SP3 & now 4 on a variety of Digital PC's with
different Video cards MI runtimes & Pro. V4.5
Problem: when the grabber is used the entire system locks up and has to be
rebooted.

Yes Derek we have noticed a problem with the redraws being very slow as
well, and while I am having a good moan we also have the occasional problem
with the "unselect all" and the "add node" functions, do you know of anyone
who has come across these problems as well? We are running 5.5 on NT4 (SP

Has anyone noticed their grabber not responding
for no reason or is this a quirk of my setup. This happens often on my machine
and to kick the grabber out of sleep mode one has to click on another tool or
two or zoom in and out and then have a go? This is starting to become a real
