I can think of two possible solutions:

1 Create a buffer around you lines, with the width based on a field in your
table.

or

2. If you are using MapInfo with the line width specified in points, I think
you can set the width based on a field (either native to MapInfo or via an
MBX).

Help should explain the nuts and bolts of how to do this.
