Hi Listers, I have had a request from one of my users asking if the info tool could leave a mark on the screen indicating where he has selected. He has to use maps that have a lot of datasets close together and finds it frustrating to have to select with the pointer first then use the info tool on the selected area. He cannot use the 'new browser---selection' option as this will not pick up data in other tables or stacks as the info tool will. I thought a rifle target symbol of concentric circles with cross hairs would look nice. and finally can mapinfo correct the selection highlight function. Why do we have to have the highlight disappear when mapinfo finds an even number of objects in a stack. Sorry if this sounds bitter but I have just had my ear chewed off by a disgruntled user.
