Why
not create a second map control which handles the layer, but is not visible to
the user?
Fellow mappers,
We need to ensure that a certain map layer in our MapX app
(developed in Visual C++) is invisible to the user. This layer is integral to
our app - and needs to be read/write accessable by the system at all times.
How can we ensure that it does NOT appear in the list of layers when the Layer
dialog is displayed? We are looking for something akin to the "Set Table
MyTable UserMap Off" statement in MapBasic
Any thoughts and comments gratefully received. Will off
course summerize any differing views on the subject.
