Hi,
Whilst assisting a client with a printing problem recently, I wondered about
the max. length of a page that MI Pro can print.
I think I recall seeing (quite a while ago) some info which suggested that
MI Pro was limited to 28800 output dots in x or y direction - a limitation

Hi Listers,
I can print maps in full colour when i am using only vectors or raster aerial

But when i print an elevation grid from either mapinfo or using Vertical Mapper i seem

When adding a new DAta Source Name (DSN) for SQL Server, the
wizard takes you through dialogs gathering up information. What I
want to know is how does it know what Servers and networks are

Hi,
I have a client who when he changes his labels after clipping a region
MapInfo frequently freezes and then crashes. Is this the typical slow
down/freeze with Clip Region or is there something he is doing wrong that is
crashing the system?
He is running 6.5 on Win 2000 Professional. I've for
I have seen that many times and strongly suspect a bug somewhere.
I tried to close ALL tables, save my workspaces in every combination of
tables. Still, this message never disappeared. But I am quite sure at one
point I had to change my data structure.
It looks like this operation has been kept i
It happened because you probably edited browser for some files.
For example you changed format of one column.
Try to recall what you've done recently on the database and go back to
previous version.

I have several regions that were combined together as one record. Now I would
like to uncombine the objects and have one record per region. What is the best
way to do this? I'm using MI 6.0

Stan,
It is possibly because your workspace is trying to execute an operation,
such as labelling, on a layer that has had its name changed since the
workspace was created. When it tries to label the layer called
'filename' it can't find it and so reports an error.
Have a look at the workspace w
