of elevation points, but it seemes to be not possible to reach the minimum cell-size I
actually need. Working both on 10.6 and 5.3 mln. elevation points, MapInfo allows the
same minimal grid
Gedas,
Check to see if you have one or more mapinfo objects placed 'off the map'.
Right click: View entire layer All layers. If you have some points with
'bad coordinates', like (0,0) then delete them. You then might the be
able to reduce the default minimum grid cell size.

I have a map in powerpoint set up at 56x56. I would like to print
it to my plotter which is HP Designjet 1050 with a capacity to plot

Does anyone have any advice on converting from MI to ArcInfo format? I have
a client who needs to do this, but who doesn't have access to ArcInfo
themselves, so would need to do it in MI. I've looked through the archives,

Hi All.
Just a note of information to people upgrading their copies of MapInfo
Pro to the new version. The new version uses a different serial number
from previous versions, at least here in North America. The new serial
number is stuck to the bottom of the MapInfo box. I hope this saves

The solution to my previous question is found. Under Options Toolbars
select Show ToolTips. Don't know why it works from here and not when
selected through the Preferences Map Window menu yet though.

Hi
Thanks to those respondents who suggested that the way to open a table with a

newname in the mapbasic window, or write a Mapbasic script..
Special thanks to you Tim Nuteson for sending me a mapbasic program

EXIF originates from digitial cameras and allows various meta data to be recorded with the image.

You can use the FME from www.safe.com to convert from one format to
