Hello Listers,
I looked over the archives of discussions and could not find anything in
reference to changing the default settings when opening a table. Is there
any way I can change the default to "new mapper" instead of "automatic"
when opening a new table in a mapper?

The best way to do this would be to use some CASS software to give you
current ZIP+4 values matched to your addresses.
But if you don't want to do it this way- I can give you a ZIP+4 point
file, that we extracted from the TIGER 2000 files, for the Milwaukee

In MapInfo 7.0, is there a way to create sub-layers similar to those found
in ArcGIS products? For example:
- DOQQ
- Fort
- Hundred
- etc
- DRG
- Fort
- Hundred
- etc
