you'll have to setup your own loop or code depending on the kind of table it is, but effectively for a single selected text object you can query out the X and Y by finding the min and max values and getting the average. then create a new point with those coordinates. i think that will werk. for

Dear Ben, I think that your problem cann't be solved. From my experiences, MapInfo has not defined the solution for the number of the range equal to 1, but ONLY for the number of the ranges equal or higher than 2. I think, that is the reason why the problem occurs. I recomend you to solve this
