MI-L PDF printing error with Mapinfo Miscellaneous symbols

I am able to print maps and layouts to PDF using Acrobat 6 with no problems normally. I have a map with some symbols created using the "Mapinfo Miscellaneous" set. This is giving me an Acrodist.exe memory not read error every time I print. Anyone else ever see anything like this? My operat

If you export a two-non-overlapping-polygon region, you will get exactly the same MIF structure. The answer to the original question is that there is no way to find in a MIF file if a region contains a donut or not.
