Mapbasic includes an example on how to do integrated mapping with
delphi. Such an example should of course have been included with MapInfo
and not mapbasic, since it only involves mapinfo and delphi.
Kind regards

Dear MapInfo users,
I am interested in using MapInfo with borland delphi and plan to develop application

Hi List
Can anyone explain why when using the buffer tool and choosing to reduce the
number of segments per circle it reverts back to the default of 12? We are
using MI 7.5.
Cheers
Melinda
I use the same one - it's brilliant.

For CAD/GIS you could use a PDF maker made specifically for such software (better
support for different line type, patterns, objects overlay, etc)
Try this one, free tryout...

Instead of a transparent vector overlay, we have a Digital Raster Graphics

Ok I got it now. I use the +.

Sorry if I missed a thread (or more) on this topic...but...is there a way
to automatically generate rectangles (or polygons) if you have coordinates

Peter,
Thanks for the helpful hint. I have worked with if statements in C++, so this made
sense and was exactly what I was looking for. I had the same idea, but could not
figure out the syntax in MapInfo.
Now, if you don't mind, how would I string several similar expressions together?
Thank
I have converted a map to PDF (using CutePDF and Acrobat Distiller) but I am
still not getting the desired result. I have a raster layer, on top of

You should the MapInfo way of doing an IIF():

This means:
If YOURCOLUMN holds the character "E", then the expression Int(YOURCOLUMN = "E") will

I then use the Left$() function to take either 0 or 1 characters from

Thx for all the replies. The problem was that I had made a define statement in a def
file like:
Define DDLFILE1 "TermisLib.DLL"
and the used the DLLFILE1 constant in all the declarations of my DLL functions.
Deleting the define DLLFILE1 and using the TermisLib.dll name

Bill,
My best bet would be to have PHP create a txt file
with the data from the webpage every time it's loaded.
Then get MB to access the txt file only if the size
has increased or the modified date/time is later than

unnecessary processing if the
