Andrew,
I've got a simple piece of software that can convert
TABs to SVG if you want it. Give me your personal
email address, I'll dig it out and mail it on. Are you
familiar to MB?? Might need a tweak here and there as
it's my own and haven't used it in 6 months...
Regards
Ben Crane
Andrew,
Have you tried contacting the authors of the software? They also have their
own mailing list that you could post too

Hello,
I am MapInfo/VM (MapInfo ver. 6.0 and VM ver. 2.6) user.
I need to use an interpolation method known as Kriging with an external
method. I want to know if it is possible to do this with MapInfo/VM? how
to use this method in MapInfo/VM? I have been using the
interpolation/kriging wizard,
Sorry to do this globally, but a few people have asked
the for program and there is one small thing I have
forgotten to add.
1. You need a map window open with content and IN
FOCUS.
2. Once the program runs, it saves to C:\SVGTest.SVG

Hi
I don't thnik that it's possibly with VM or other of the userfriendly
tools.
The free Gstat could be an option where you can make co-kriging, but it
depend on the number of points (and DO a point agrregation before using
Gstat, surfer or other tools who don't like coidencent points) and
Hello all,
Does anyone know if it is possible to link a cloned window? What I
would like to do is to clone a view and for both the windows to look
identical as I pan across one of the screens. At present I can pan in
one screen, but the other will remain static.
Your help is much
Hi all
I've uploaded the street data (polyline) into Oracle 10g by using easyload

thing looks like fine except sql select in mapinfo. The total row count of
my table is 227000. My problem is for instance when execute a
Hello,
that is the way how Mapinfo works with Oracle.
The SQL Query downloads all data and then executes the query locally.
If you want the SQL to be executed in Oracle you will have to
do a little bit of programming with the Server_(Connect,Execute,etc)
Functions, or use a MapBasic Tool
MapInfo 7.8 and 8.0 have a tool called SyncWindows that can do what you want

You can also specify a condition when opening your table in the first place.
This condition will then be send to Oracle and only records meeting this
condition will be returned.
The big issue is that MapInfo doesn't use the Oracle index when you use the SQL

I have attempted to export a text file using both Table-Export-delimited

I would like to have no quotes included. Any ideas?
Also, when I utilize the csv file type, MI generates a non lethal error

If you have MapInfo 7.8 there is a tool available called Sync Windows. Go to
Tools Tool Manager and look to the bottom of the list, I presume the same
tool is available in v8 as well. If you don't have 7.8 or 8 then let me know

Hi all,
After using ultraedit for a number of years, I finally decided to program
it up to compile directly (in my defence, my main applications have small
mapbasic programs and a large include file that is edited, so generally it
is easier to switch to mapbasic and compile).
That and I
If you have a triangular shaped, single polygon region in which one edge
goes from one corner of the region's MBR to the MBR corner diagonally
opposite, MapInfo puts the centroid of the polygon exactly on this line.
This results in a centroid that intersects not only its own polygon, but
also the

Yes, but it will probably launch a new copy of Mapinfo each time. The
trick is to launch MapInfo with your MBX on the command line. But I find

Bill,
I only came across this the other day. A real pain as I had a fucntion

polygons of another but didn't match a reference ID. And they didn't
