Spencer,
I think the problem with your function is that the parameters are send ByRref
not ByVal. This shoul dbe the correct structure:
Function AlterPen (ByVal o as object, ByVal p as pen) as object
Alter object o Info OBJ_INFO_PEN, p
End Function

Hi All,
Is it possible to pass parameters to an MBX?
I have to integrate my MBX with a third party application. The third party
application will launch my MBX passing an ID number to it, my MBX then
assembles a dataset based on this ID number and performs operations on it.
If this can't be done
MapInfo seems to be doing something more exciting with saving thematics ;)
So here I am again to pimp out a what seems to be a yearly tool release for
me.

I just changed to a new printer (from HP 2500 to HP 2800). If I go and
change a saved workspace in page setup to the new printer and do a search

This is something you could do with our Geographic Transformer software. The
Transformer is a powerful utility for referencing, reprojecting, tiling and
mosaicking raster imagery. Not to be confused with the more limited extension

It comes with MapInfo Pro, so it should be found in the Tool Manager or at

MapInfo added support for JPEG2000 in MapInfo 7.0, so you should be able to
read these filetypes.
The problem can be to get the files orientated. Normally MapInfo requires a
tab-fil that will hold the orientation information including the projection.
But MapInfo can also create this tab file from
You should be able to open them with the free v7 of JPEG2000/ ECW Viewer

I'm not sure how that will translate to opening the .JP2's in MI Pro, though
