Dear,
We are working with Mapinfo Professional
6.0. Does anybody know whether it is possible to send a thematic
map via e-mail?
Thanks in advance.

Hi Herbert
Need to send the workspace (and associated
files) as the thematic map is stored on this file. You can use http://www.directionsmag.com/files/index.php/view/558
to package the workspace. I have not used this but it sounds like it would do
the job. Then you can zip it up and

Does anyone know of an add-on application (or any other
method) to be able to use MapMarker PLUS (or any other geocoder) for reverse
geocoding.
By reverse geocoding, I mean getting back street addresses
for given lat/long coordinates.
Any insights would be appreciated.
Title: Changing font colour in browser
Hi all,
Is it possible to change the font colour of selected records in a browser window? Id like to make it more obvious what records are selected. Thanks

Hello Jae,
Actually, I'm not sure you should rely on this query in MapBasic! The

Hello everyone;
I have an access database. There's a table in this database that I wanted
to be brought into MapInfo (7.5). I've done this via the dbms connection,
and created a linked table. I also wanted to make this table mappable, and
have gone through the steps to do this. This table

Hi List,
Does anyone know how MapInfo works out which road names to draw so as
they don't overlap each other when drawn?
This is really neat and I was wondering how it's done. Apologies - this
more a general GIS graphics display question than mapinfo specific.
Kind regards all
Tim
Come on
Thanks everyone for your help on this subject.
I found a method of OGR (which mitab uses) called
SetSpatialFilterRect(...), as Uffe mentioned.
This filters using MapInfo's .map spatial index.

The X and Y columns are still there; MapInfo has simply hidden them since
it's using them for the coordinates of your points.
MapInfo did this by design; it can be annoying but you have to live with it.
If you want to get X and Y coordinates out of the mappable table you can
