Hi there,
Thanks to all who replied to my request for help this morning.
The solution that worked best was to save the A4 layout window as 135cm
width and as a jpeg.
That was the maximum dpi it would save and then it looks fine in other
programs, its also a manageable file size. Using .tif the colo

Hi there,
I have maps with coloured polygons overlying 1:10 000 base maps. I would

The files I created were emf/wmf and were huge 40 and 80MB.
Is there a way of saving the layouts so tha
Hi Bill,

normally again.

Hi all,
Does anyone have copyplus-235.exe to hand?
If so could you email it to me?
It was on http://www.directionsmag.com/files/index.php/browse/1:8
at one stage, but I can't download it.
It's for copying workspaces and locating tables associated with the
workspace.
cheers,
Suzanne.

Hi all,
Does anyone know if there are teaching tools available for students to learn
how to use MapInfo?
I am involved with teaching postgraduates how to use MapInfo, but I find it

I want to bring maps into word as pictures.
I used to do this with Acrobat Distiller, but don't have it on my machine,

Dear all,
I have some aerial photos from different time periods that I would like to
register acurately in MapInfo - acurately enough so that I can digitise
river channels over it and look at the change in extent of the channel.
However when you zoom in on a black and white aerial photo the bound
Dear all,
Is it possible to get MapInfo to generate a table/column of distances from
points x,y,z (displayed on a map, will have grid references for them in
British National Grid in table), to a series of points produced from
postcodes?
cheers,
Suzanne.

Dear all,
I have a problem with digitising over a scanned map. I have digitised the
boundary of a river. This has to be done as accurately as possible - as the
customer is looking at how the river moves laterally through time - over
various editions of the map. However when I digitise it, it is ok
