Hi John, I agree with Mats to get a program that prints PDF Files. If you would like a Free Alternative for PDF Printing then you should check out CutePDF Writer. I use this software for printing MapInfo A1 & A0 Maps to PDF Files and it works really well. Best of all it does not have any ads or watermarks. http://www.cutepdf.com/Products/CutePDF/writer.asp Paul

MI-L Scaling the Layout Page Hi John! First, there is really nothing that stops you from creating layout objects beyond the 'paper surface' in the layout window, even if it will look funny. Secondly, you can install a printer driver that handles A0 without being physically in contact with such a plotter. Look for HP or Canon large format plotter drivers. But this makes me wonder: How do you eventually propose to print the map? Without an A0 plotter I mean? In order to create any kind of plotfile, you must have a suitable driver for the plotter and paper format. The best solution, I would think is to get Adobe Acrobat. Then you can create pdf files in any format for easy distribution, printing or plotting. However I do not have an A0 plotter. The problem is that when I go to the page setup. I am only offered page sizes that my network printers can handle (A3 max). Is there anyway that I can scale the map to A0 without having the ability to print it??? As usual I am sure there is a very simple answer but I just can't find it!!! Any help much appreciated!
