TEMPORARY FULLTIME POSITION: Geographical Information Officer, Mapping
Unit, Clerk Grade ¾.
LOCATION: Parramatta, Police Headquarters
SALARY PACKAGE: $55,624 including annual salary, employer's contribution
to
superannuation and annual leave loading
Salary Start: $46,036
Salary END: $50,407
Job Description: To provide a high quality geographic information
service in support of all policing activities throughout NSW.
SELECTION CRITERIA:
¯ Demonstrated high-level computer skills (such as mainframe, web
applications, MS Word and Excel).
¯ High level of proficiency in the use and application of GIS
technologies (preferably MapInfo) and an understanding of their application
to the policing or law enforcement environment.
¯ Demonstrated planning and organising skills.
¯ Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills.
¯ Demonstrated understanding of integrity, responsibility and personal
accountability.
¯ Knowledge and understanding of the `Common Selection Criteria' - Equal
