I was wondering what the consequences of changing the defining parameters
of a custom projection are. I have a local mine grid projection definition
which has been used for a while for various maps. This projection clause
creates a constant shift of data points of about 1.5m from where they should be
(from comparing browser coordinates with screen coordinates). If I edit the
projection clause to reduce this constant shift to around 10cm does this affect
previous maps created using this projection. Do tables reference a projection
by name or are the parameters hard wired in the table? Am I creating any other
problems for existing maps by doing this?
