I am using the Style.ExportSymbolSample("CLIPBOARD", miFormatBMP,
Style.SymbolBitmapSize, Style.SymbolBitmapSize) method to put a bmp on the
clipboard. The SymbolBitmapsize is set to 10. When I paste the bitmap I
only get a small portion of the bitmap instead of the entire symbol shrunk
to 10 x 1
> However the Map is redrawed completely all the time!!!
You don't actually have to display the map, to use the MapX rutines. You can
still access your database.
So unless you really need an updated map on your screen, maybe this is an
approach?
