Hi, To work around the problem described in another mail about network drive problems with MapX, we've contemplated running the web service from the data server itself. However, this server is a "pre-packaged" storage server with just Terminal Server access. And such servers apparently has no graphics adapter !
No graphics adapter results in MapX generating 256 color raster output (as JPEG), which is really bad when vieweing ortho photos etc. Does anyone have any idea whether it's possible or not to "fool" MapX into delivering at least 16 bit color output on such a server ? Or is it possible to install a dummy pseudo graphics adapter driver so MapX will think there is one such capable adapter present ? Any advice and insight is welcome.
