Thank you to all those who responded to my initial post. I think the basic consensus is "good luck mate!" The interesting thing about exporting to wmf then importing the layout (and its contents) to CorelDraw is that the import is near perfect in Corel. It is just the export to dxf...lines of text broken into individual letters, line weights converted to multiple strokes ergggh... For me geographic position, scale etc is not too important. I could live with just moving and scaling the drawing. Colour and linestyle translation etc is also not too much of a concern either. My position is made more difficult by the fact that my layouts basically contain two map windows - one a non-earth mapper and the other a rotated earth projection mapper. This makes exporting the individual tables then reassembling the layout in the CAD package a real pain. And I just know our client is going to ask for a digital copy in AutoCad - and we're not just talking about one or two layouts. I think the best solution may be to give the client a copy of ProViewer.
