Group. This may be a stupid question but, sometimes I have to deal with stupid people. Please read on. I have terrain raster images that are projected in NAD83. The rest of our vector data is projected in (grid) lat/long, lat/long. I was wondering, can I change the projection & datum to lat/long, lat/long for the rasters. I know lat/long, lat/long is a non earth flat projection. If and will changing the rasters to lat/long, lat/long, make the problem (read below) go away? The issue is, when I create a radius ring, because of the raster images, the radius ring looks oval shaped instead of a circle. For 99% of my job, it is not necessary to see real earth projections but, we want to show terrain. If a leasing person sees a oval radius ring instead of a circle on a map, they won't understand that the reason is because the earth is round, not flat. Does anybody have any advice to what we can do? thanks Philip Lesnik
