Hi. Does anyone have any experience running MI Pro v7 on XP Home Edition? I have a client that has a Compaq 2GHz laptop with 512 MB of RAM. He is saying that it is taking over a minute before the MapInfo splash screen comes on. Also he has some large workspaces, e.g. 400MB, that take 5-10 minutes to load. He previously had a 400MHz laptop running Win98 and the same workspaces opened up in less than 1 minute. Does anyone know if XP Home Edition could be the problem? Thanks in advance for your replies.
