You don't need any special code to move workspaces and data in MapInfo Pro.

In MiPro version 6
1. Go to Option Preferences.
2. Select Directories.
3. Add a Search Directories for tables. This should be you new drive or new

Another (easy) option is to use the freeware tool "Copy Plus" from
www.spatialplus.com.
