MI-L viewshed or visibility

Hello. I'm using MI ver 6.0 (soon to aquire 7.5) been asked to do a viewshed analysis- something I haven't done before. eg. Standing at the base of a hill what would I see uphill with trees cut down, trees a certain height, buildnings, etc What data and do I need and special software to perform

Hi Peter, You can try Grid Analyser - besides many other features it performs viewshed analysis. The result is either simple classified grid file (displays visible and unvisible area) or continous grid file (calculates needed height to be grid cell visible or the height about which height of the t
