I'm going out on a limb here, but, I'd be willing to bet your shapefile is not non-earth. Unfortunately, ArcView is horrible about disclosing it's projection information, which it doesn't keep in the first place. First, I'd check with the data provider or check the metadata, if any. Or, maybe yo
