I had this same problem a while agoi ended up doing a search on the C: drive and
found that the Custom symbol directory was duplicated twice...
once in:
C:\Documents and Settings\apers\Application
Data\MapInfo\MapInfo\Professional\700\CustSymb
and again in:
C:\Documents and Settings\apers\
Thanks to all for the help,
I just needed to put it in the 'other' CUSTSYMB folder. It's early and I
need more coffee to wake up.
