Unfortunately there's no such functionality built into MI.
The way I would do it is to have a separate column for each hotlink in your
table. I would then write an MBX with a custom toolbar with a button for
each hotlink.
Can't supply details as I haven't tried it yet.

There is no standard feature that does such a thing (to my knowledge). In
the case of referencing documents, I use the FindFirstFile and FindNextFile
API instructions using directory structures. In the case of URL's, I use a
table that contains the corresponding table name and a unique record
