Adam, you could try adding the following line to your workspace find using mytable(column_name) options symbol makesymbol(48,16711680,24) which should then default the Find command to use the column called column name in the table called mytable and you get to pick a nice symbol too!!! HTH Nic

You can use the MapBasic command to setup this. This could be done in the end of the workspace, but you'll have to enter this everytime the user saves the workspace because this manual entered command will not persist. You could also create a new workspace where you link to the other workspace and
