Simply save the workspace before you close the browser.  If you close the
browser in a session in this workspace, it will be lost until you reopen the
workspace.

I've just started messing around with the "Browse | Pick Fields" function
with browsers.  I notice that you can use this to give an "alias" name to a
field and that you can also use this to specify which fields are visible.
However, I also notice that if you close the browser window after doing
this, all of these "alias" and field picks are lost when you open a new
browser.

Can anyone tell me how to make MapInfo "remember" what I did to a browser so
that if I accidentally close the browser I can re-open it with the field
picks I specified?  Thanks.

P.S. I know I've been posting a lot of questions lately; I'm converting from
9 years of ArcView, so maybe after a while I'll be able to provide some good
answers in return...
