This can be done with MapXtreme 2004, since the labels are actually a layer
themselves now.

Great resource here.
 
I want to display the value in a column at the point for that instance, and
then color the font that is used to display the value in the column
according to a range of values.  
For example, I have a column called chemistry that has a value.  I want to
display that value and then color code the font according to the value.
Getting the font to change is what I have yet to figure out.  Can it be
done?
