I have experienced the same thing.

MapInfo say its because MI cant handle one to many relationships.

But its fine in the resulting query browser.

I think that its a bug in the info tool.

Okay, the answer straight from MapInfo Tech Support is "It's supposed to
work that way".

How disappointing.

MI's suggestion was to save a copy of the query result, which does seem to
correct the problem. They claim that MI doesn't really support one-to-many
joins, and that this lack of support shows up when trying to use the info
tool in a map window with a temporary query table spawned from a one-to-many
join.

I get exactly the same problem with my SQL query generate table using MI
v6.0.
I hope somebody knows the answer to this one.
