Hi I used the command ogrinfo -ro -summary gltp:/vrf/c:/ms4w/apps/some_folder/data/DNC13/H1316030 on a folder containing digital nautical charts to get the listing below. I then created the map file using the info for layer 14 ( [EMAIL PROTECTED](*)_area (Polygon) ) and using the extents

You need to look at the .prj file and see what the projection of the data is, and compare it to your map file extents. It is possible that you can't see the data at the moment because it is in a different coordinate space, and lies outside of the extents of your current map. Tanya 2008/7/22
