Hi All-
I'm trying to query mapserver's wfs service (layer's data is backed by
postgis) using the following post: (excuse the parentheses instead of <>'s,
they are from some debug code)

Yo
You need to make one more change(s) in plmodule.i. Look for lines of the form:
mapscript::RFC24_ADD_PARENT_REF(...
and change mapscript to mapscript563. The README in the perl subdirectory talks
about this step but the wiki looks to be a bit out-of-date. Here's a great
chance to update it!

Venkat,
Here are my quick thoughts:
- what is the projection of the original geotiff file? I often have to
go to the source of the data (where I found the data) and look for
metadata stating the original projection
- once I know the original projection, then you can either manually

Yes this is very common, and very efficient. Use the "ows_" metadata
tag, so MapServer will use that information for any OGC web servic
Ibrahim,
That is a very interesting Linux/Windows comparison. I don't have your

Here are some things that I would be asking myself:

- what are the library versions used for

Hello everybody!
For evaluation purposes we need to run a mapserver 5.6.3
incl. mapscript for perl in parallel with version 5.0.0
(system is a 64 bit SLES 10 with swig 1.3.27).
So i need to store the mapserver binaries in a separate
directory (no problem of course) and rename the mapscript
module
Dear all,
I'm using more than 100 layers on 5.4.2 version. I think the problem is not
about number of layers but about characters you have used in map file..
Regards...

Hi there,
as far as I know there is no limit in respect to the numbers of layers
in the mapfile anymore, no? We're running 5.2.1, and it seems that
somewhere between 45 and 50 layers, it returns me that error. Anyone
knows why? Anything I can do?
Thanks for any tips!

Hi,
First, the image coordinates x=9.5&y=50& do not hit Germany. Try with 475,98
and you will get something back but I am not sure if it is Germany either. To
get what you want you must also tell in the mapfile what attributes should be
included in the response with "wms_include_items"
