I'm trying to figure out how MapServer places its labels on the map. So
right now I'm looking at the file 'maplabel.c' from the mapserver source
code (mapserver-5.0.2, from 'mapserver.gis.umn.edu/dload.html').
But the difference and relation between some objects isn't really clear to
