Stefan,
Do you have the Georaptor extension installed in SQL Dev? Have you tried to run
the verification on all of the geom data in that table?

Something that would be helpful to know is whether you need something that
isn't very technical to setup or not. I just rolled out the use of MapGuide

I have a web client that makes calls to the MapServer (5.6.0rc1) CGI. I'm

Does anyone have any ideas of how to convert an SVG/EPS/PS file to
something so that I can use it as a symbol on my map? I've searched and
searched for some sort of application that will convert it to something
I can use, no luck.

All,
I'm done with the cartography, I think.
Anyone see any problems with it that are obvious? Again, this is only
the road network, and it's only for a local dataset.
This means that you have not compiled MapServer with support for Oracle
Spatial. Are you using a binary distribution, if so you'll need to compile from
source and include that path to your local Oracle Client install. What OS are
you running under?

In general you don't copy your php extension to your web root. You need
to copy it to your PHP extensions directory. You'll find what this is
set to in your php.ini file. When you try to dynamically load the module
it's looking to load it from the php default extensions path and not the
web root

Something I notice is that you don't have any MIMETYPE for your OUTPUTFORMAT.
If you want to use AGG and PNG with transparency I'd try adding:
MIMETYPE image/png; mode=24bit
to your OUTPUTFORMAT.

What version of Oracle are you using? If you are using 10g or higher it
comes with Oracle Locator free. Oracle Locator is like Oracle Spatial
