Thanks for the ubuntugis repository. It took me a good bit of trying today but I got Mapserver 6.0 installed today by building from source. I'm not sure I've got it all right but I've got a working version for testing. I'd prefer to just load from the repository. Could you add "--with-cairo" to the next build to allow pdf output.
