I believe that Office 365 is now at 5 devices [desktop, laptop, tablet] for $100 a year, with some limitations. Renting an office package is not my cup-of-tea. MSO 2013 seems to be $130 to $400 per device to buy. For this economic times, getting a good working at a free price makes sense.
