Through our cooperative partnership with the University of Miami, the NOAA
Southeast Fisheries Science Center's Marine Mammal Branch in Miami, FL is
looking to hire two new positions with our growing passive acoustics team.

We seek a full-time Research Associate with expertise in passive acoustic
data collection and analysis to help us with field work and data analyses
for our towed array surveys of cetacean density and abundance and moored
acoustic recorder studies of cetacean occurrence.  To apply, this position

We seek a full-time Assistant Scientist with quantitative ecology,
statistics, or related expertise to join our international team on a
large-scale passive acoustic monitoring project (LISTEN GoMex - Long-term
Investigations into Soundscapes, Trends, Ecosystems, and Noise in the Gulf
of Mexico) to develop predictive models to improve our understanding of
oceanographic and anthropogenic factors driving trends in cetacean
