Our mission is to improve and protect life for marine mammals, humans, and our shared oceans through science, service, and education. This internship is working directly in the veterinary hospital that supports the U.S. Navy Marine Mammal Program and is intended for college-aged or recently graduated, undergraduate-level students who must be a U.S. citizen, able to pass a background check, and willing to accept the internship as an unpaid position.* This internship will give students a unique inside look at the day-to-day operations of a marine mammal clinic, work directly with veterinary technicians and veterinary staff, and learn the ins-and-outs of marine mammal care and medicine.
