NZ cops recently got a gold star as the most 'diversity aware' government dept. Today male police officers in various cities took off their regulation shoes and donned red high heels and other women's footwear to "walk a mile in the shoes" of domestic and sexual violence victims. All this PC stuff is about creating a police force which is more attuned to the needs of the NZ capitalist system in the 21st century and the diverse nature of NZ society today.
