Happy Father's Day. When the kids get big and then become adults and then get . . . like old, between 30 and 40, you can stop looking at all your mistakes and smile. "3 out of 5 is not bad." I never understood why the last two girls opted for being thugs, although the baby has a huge capacity for work. I think a dad - me, did not get to them in time. The other three were around more books and saw more real reading being done instead of trying to organize demonstrations or the simplest of protest. This makes the kids protest more than study I thought. Damn. Yet its "Happy Proletarian Falters Day" and this is big because it includes all who fight on the side of the proletariat. I love Holiday's where the forces of the proletariat dominant. I hate Holiday like "Bankers Day" which was moved from Lincoln's birthday for two reasons: one side said holding bankers day on Lincoln's birthday obscure the revolutionary change wave of 1865 and blunts the teaching of completion of revolution and how the vision of one revolution becomes the cause of the next. The other side said, "every damn day is a holiday for the bankers so lets make everyday a banker holiday for finance capital." That is why Father Day is just one day. The bankers got all the other days except the ones finance capital could not take away like International Women's Day, May Day, Cinco De Mayo, July 4th, Juneteenth and a couple of more proletarian get together days.
