Unity of black and white is not going to happen. Black unity is not
going to happen either. Perhaps if blacks and whites kicked their
respective clergies to the curb, closed their Bibles and began to
examine the world around them rationally, they'd actually get
somewhere. But that's not going
On the other hand, I must say that I think Rev. Wright missed an
historic opportunity in his speeches to the NAACP here in Detroit last
night, and evidently at the press club today.
